OUTREACH

The outreach component supports the educational goals of Art VULUPS by promoting the overall Project and its resulting art collection and by capturing the Project process and following it beyond completion. Additional goals of the outreach component include advancing the public’s knowledge of the planning profession and promoting positive alternative interactions between planners and the general public.

Outreach strategies will include:

Working closely with the education team to target as many audiences as possible;

Identifying unique opportunities for exhibitions, workshops and public interaction;

Securing venues for programming at a variety of locations, including educational institutions as well as community and art centers;

Utilizing social and professional media outlets, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. as well as interactive web tools, such as Wordpress and YouTube.
