Miguel A. Vazquez, AICP

Miguel is a registered planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners and is a member of the American Planning Association and the California Planning Roundtable. He is also a visual artist based in the City of Riverside, CA. His professional experience includes providing urban planning consulting services for the private, public and military sectors and working on regional sustainable programs in Riverside County, CA. He currently works as the Healthy Communities Planner for the Riverside County Department of Public Health. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and Planning from California State University Northridge. Before becoming a planner, he co-owned Pueblo Gallery @ the Santora Arts Building in the City of Santa Ana, CA. He has also volunteered for different civic and non-profit organizations including the City of Riverside's Human Relations Commission and Inland Empire Section of the American Planning Association where he currently serves as the section's historian. He is also an autodidact in the fields of photography, visual arts, history and archaeology. His artwork is regularly exhibited at the Riverside Community Arts Association's Gallery. Miguel is the founder and principal organizer of Art VULUPS.
