Joe Berryhill

Picture
Joseph has been an active artist and designer for over 10 years.  The completion of his bachelor's degree in Studio Art was followed by a sojourn into the tech industry of Silicon Valley where he worked as a designer and art director until his return to Fresno in 2004.  There, he was unanimously approved as a member of Gallery 25, Fresno's oldest artist cooperative and was an active member of several art organizations.  His success led him back to Oakland and the Bay Area where he earned an MFA from Mills College.  Joe is interested in the community aspects of art.  His desire to talk, discuss and interpret them are always present when approaching his projects.  He believes that his outward interests in society have the potential to have a positive impact on the cultural life of his community.  Joe serves as Art VULUP's Advisor of Virtual Communications.
