Meenaxi R. Panakkal, AICP
Meenaxi’s fascination with aesthetics and colors drives her as a person. She finds historic buildings and well designed spaces emotionally and spiritually uplifting. She attempts to bring these sensibilities in her work as an urban designer. Prior to her work in urban planning, she has worked as an architect on several projects across four countries. Widely traveled and well experienced with large urban cities, she combines her expertise in architecture and planning to teach graduate courses in urban design, history and planning at CalPoly, Pomona.
She is a project manager at LSA Associates. She has earned degree in architecture from Academy of Architecture, India and Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic, Pomona.
